Sod has many advantages over seeding a yard including:
1.The yard is virtually weed free with sod
2.The lawn is not susceptible to being washed off (when installed properly).
3.Sod gives homeowners the instant gratification of a lush, green lawn that requires little maintenance once the roots are established.
What are the steps required with installing sod?
1.Preparing the lawn
2.Laying the sod
Why do you need to prepare the lawn?
At Roswell Tree Solutions, we know the most important part of sod installation is preparing the lawn. Typically, preparing the lawn, is also the most laborious task in this process. We make sure the ground is level, tilled, and free of rocks.
Beware! Many unscrupulous companies take short cuts here. However, Roswell Tree Solutions, leaves no rock unturned. Our clients love us because we pay very close attention to detail.
What’s Next?
It’s time to lay the sod! After all the preparation is done, you’ll be getting a brand new green yard. Sod can come in several shapes. It can be short, squares or rectangles, longer rolls that are approximately one square yard each, and big roll that can be as large as 25-30 square yards in one roll. Most likely, your sod will be shorter rectangles or the smaller square yard rolls.
We only install the correct sod for your yard. We take care when we install your sod. After turf installation, Premiere Tree Solutions provides you with all the necessary steps to insure your lawn stays healthy and lasts a life time!
